A beautifully crafted square Chinese tea cup featuring softly rounded corners and a rich, naturally varied glaze. The pale blue-gray exterior is covered with fine golden-brown speckling, while the interior develops a warmer concentration of amber and rust-colored tones.
The cup’s wood-fired character is especially striking under direct light, revealing countless tiny variations throughout the glaze. A dark exposed clay foot provides an earthy contrast and bears the artist’s impressed seal.
